This year promises to be very special. We have invited prominent women leaders representing diverse segments of the community to participate in a session titled, "Women Leaders & Sustainable Communities," in an open forum format.
In addition, we will hold the GreeningUSA Sustainability Awards Program. This annual program recognizes individual and group achievements in creating more sustainable communities across New York State during the past year.
The “Sustaining Our Communities” Award will be presented to up to five individuals, organizations or businesses for their significant impacts on environmental, economic and/or social sustainability. GreeningUSA will also recognize the good work of its own members by presenting a "Member of the Year" and up to three "Outstanding Service" awards.
The public is invited to nominate others or themselves for the “Sustaining Our Communities” awards. Nominations for all awards may be submitted online at GreeningUSA's website through March 23.
